“WHAT ABOUT NORMS” say Americans who voted for a convicted felon.
Furious that President Biden pardoned his son, Hunter Biden, for lying on a federal form, Americans who voted for 34 times convicted felon Donald Trump are screaming about Democratic abandonment of “norms.”
“The guy had a child out of wedlock; he should be in prison the rest of his life!” yelled Frank Torums, 53, adorned in a Trump-themed shirt manufactured by children in China.
When asked about his opinion on the child fathered out of wedlock by Trump’s proposed head of the Department of Defense, Pete Hegseth, Torums stood silently for 30 seconds, shifting back and forth and then said, “Marriages are complicated.” When asked if he himself is married, Torums abruptly left, stumbling slightly in his Trump sneakers.
“A President has NEVER pardoned a family member; it’s nepotism of the highest order!” shouted Maverick Maxwell, 44, an unemployed attack dog trainer adorned in a customized “Proud To Be Trump’s Garbage” Hefty Bag with a picture of Trump spanking VP Harris safety-pinned to the back.
When informed that George HW Bush granted clemency to his son, Neil Bush, for his role in the Silverado Savings and Loan scandal, which cost taxpayers over $1 billion, Maverick said, “Well that’s just white collar crime. It’s not lying on a form!”
When told Trump had pardoned his father-in-law, Charles Kushner, for lying to the Federal Election Commission in 2015 (along with other crimes), Maverick replied, “SHUT UP THAT’S WHY” and also left in his Cyber Truck, bumping a curb on his way out, which, tragically, caused the truck to go up in flames.
Perhaps feelings were most succinctly summed up by Dinesh D’Souza, who tweeted, “No one is above the law-except my son Hunter!”
D’Souza was pardoned by Trump in 2018 for his 2014 guilty plea to campaign finance law violations.
