“I’ve always been interested in how my position of power can use innovative technologies to un-level the playing field so I can make more money,” said Nancy Pelosi, Democratic octogenarian from California and former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.
“Whether it’s manipulating market forces to increase the value of my stock portfolio or simply using insider information to leverage me and my family’s wealth, I’m sort of an early adopter of new ways to exploit political power to financially help those I love… oh, and others. You know. The others. I mean everyone.”
Pelosi, quickly checking the Robinhood app on her phone, continued. “The progressives in my party think I have a ‘let them eat cake’ attitude about the conflict of interests regarding policy makers crafting laws that will dramatically impact the economy and their investments. So, I decided to name my bitcoin ‘Cakecoin’. It’s really quite clever if you ask me. Very aggressive and confident on my behalf.”
